Rushe
Tap dance
Sinéad Rushe is a former All-Ireland and Ulster Irish Dance
Champion and trained with Sheila Nolan in Newry, Northern Ireland.
She has performed at Sadlers Well’s Theatre, Clore Studio,
Royal Opera House, Purcell Room (all in London), Bristol Old Vic
Theatre, Theatre Royal (Bath), Traverse Theatre (Edinburgh), Melbourne
International Festival, Lisbon Dance Festival, Springdance Festival
(Utrecht), Neumarkt Theatre, (Zurich), and received her T.C.R.G
(An Comhdhail) Irish dance teaching diploma in 1996. She has taught
workshops throughout Europe, Ireland and the UK as well as regular
classes at essexdance and Pineapple Studios in London. She is currently
directing the forthcoming solo show of ex Riverdance
star, Colin Dunne.
